“Deeds, not words.”

Dear Friends,

I am a military man so I speak directly and from the heart. While announcing that I am running for the United States Congress, I do so with a mission. I don't like the direction my country is going. We are not solving our problems and we certainly are not getting solutions from Washington. My mission is to change that.

I love America. I have shown that with my deeds, not words, with over thirty-two years of service in the United States Air Force. I served three tours in the Middle East, not because I had to, but because my country needed me there. I have taught my daughters that there are some things worth dying for. Through my actions, not words, my goal is to win this campaign, go to Washington, and turn things around.

Please join me in this mission. Help me stand for something, something positive, something that can be measured through deeds, not words.

Respectfully,

Colonel Robert Burton
Candidate for Congress
South Carolina's First Congressional District
